Following each Education Concert the SLSO mailbag usually fills with letters from grateful students throughout the region, expressing what a great time they had.
But an especially big letter takes up most of Education Programs Manager Megan Denell’s door on the eighth floor. It is addressed to SLSO Assistant Conductor Scott Parkman, who conducts the orchestra as he teaches a few things about music to an auditorium of schoolchildren.
