Melissa didn't receive an invitation to Bloggers' Night, an oversight that will be corrected next time--so many bloggers, so little time. But she graciously sent in her post to us anyway. She makes note of a certain quality that makes Colin Currie so appealing, and puts in a mention of Susan Slaughter's lovely, lyrical, heart-wrenching solo at the end of Song of the Nightingale.
