A walk through the
Powell Hall foyer--which usually glistens like a room at Versailles, which makes
sense since it was actually designed like a room at Versailles--these days has all the
glamour of a construction site... because it is a construction site. Bathrooms--those
most essential but too often neglected venue necessities--are being redone. All
will be bright and shiny and palace-like again by fall.
