Science of Sound

This Partnership with the Saint Louis Science Center provides students with the experience of attending an Education Concert at Powell Symphony Hall and an Education Program at the Saint Louis Science Center.  Students will investigate the science behind the sounds produced by the orchestra instruments through interactive activities led by Saint Louis Science Center staff, and each student will create his or her own instrument to take home.
The Science of Sound is offered in conjunction with the Kinder Konzerts and Young People’s Concerts at Powell Symphony Hall.

For more details, please click here (pdf file) or simply visit www.slsc.org and look under “Educator Resources” and then check out the “Science of Sound.”
