Gerard Pagano

Trombones (Trombone & Bass Trombone)

Gerard Pagano is originally from Athens, Georgia. He received bachelors and masters degrees in music from the Juilliard School in 1987, and was a member of the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra for eight seasons before coming to St. Louis in 1995. He has performed with numerous orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony, the Metropolitan Opera of New York, the San Francisco Opera, the Tanglewood Fellowship Orchestra, and Teton Music Festival Orchestra. He has performed master classes at the University of Georgia, Julliard School, Manhattan School of Music, University of Missouri, University of Illinois, Illinois State, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Mr. Pagano is a member of the Trombones of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, a chamber ensemble performing concerts and master classes in the Midwest region.

Summers find Gerry Pagano at the Interlochen National Arts Camp. He has taught Low Brass at the University of Missouri-St.Louis for six years. He lives with his wife Elizabeth, daughter Emily, two Maine Coon cats, and a French bulldog. Hobbies include hiking, biking, cutting the grass in summer, and raking the leaves in the fall!
