
Hiroko Yoshida, violin, graduated with a master’s from Tokyo University of Arts, and went on to study under Dorothy Delay at Julliard School of Music on a full scholarship. She has won numerous music awards including the NHK audition and the Bunka Broadcasting competition. In addition to being a member of the St. Louis Symphony for 30 years, she is an active member in the community, playing in the St. Louis Symphony Chamber Music Society and performing various solo functions for the St. Louis community. She has attended the Aspen Music Festival and Spoleto Festival in Italy. As a violin teacher, many of her students have won recognition in national and state competitions.
