
Clarinetist Scott Andrews is an active chamber musician and recitalist, critically acclaimed in performances from coast to coast. Appointed Principal Clarinet of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra in 2005, Mr. Andrews has performed throughout the country with many of today’s leading instrumentalists and has also appeared at numerous summer festivals and with ensembles such as the Ying String Quartet and the Boston Symphony Chamber Players. Mr. Andrews has lectured and given classes around the United States as well as in Europe and Japan. He is a faculty member at the Tanglewood Music Center and was for many years the Woodwind Department Chair at the Boston Conservatory. Prior to his appointment in St. Louis, he was a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra for 10 years and has also performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Mr. Andrews is a graduate of New England Conservatory, where he studied clarinet with Harold Wright.
