The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra’s (SLSO) most recent 990 for fiscal year ending August 31, 2007 may be accessed by clicking on the link above. In addition to the financial information provided in the 990, the following commentary gives further explanation:

Please note the total revenue figure of $26,814,285 includes $3,267,459 in endowment donations received during the period and transferred to the SLSO Endowment Trust. The SLSO may request a 5% draw on the endowment each fiscal year. The SLSO Endowment Trust is controlled by a seven-person committee comprised of SLSO appointed members and independent parties. Its assets cannot be accessed by SLSO management for general operating support or any other financial needs beyond the 5% annual draw without approval of six of the seven committee members. An additional 990 is filed for the SLSO Endowment Trust.
