Annual Fund
The Annual Fund supports every aspect of Symphony activities, including
lecture-demonstrations in urban school classrooms, free concerts in area
parks, joint music and literacy programs in libraries and Head Start
facilities, the Orchestra’s long-standing Kinder Konzerts at Powell
Symphony Hall, and subscription concerts featuring some of the world’s
greatest conductors and soloists. The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra
reaches nearly 325,000 area residents each year; of these, 34% hear
Orchestra musicians outside Powell Symphony Hall. In addition, 40% hear
them for free or at a nominal cost.
