SAINT LOUIS SYMPHONY OFFERS UNIQUE EVENT

FREE EVENT INVITES PATRONS TO JOIN MUSICIANS ON STAGE 

ST. LOUIS,  October 24, 2003 – The Saint Louis Symphony is now offering a unique series where audience members have the opportunity to sit on stage at Powell Symphony Hall with musicians during the performance. This event is free to the public and is accented by lively commentary, a question and answer period and frequent audience participation. The second on-stage event will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 7:00 p.m. at Powell Hall, 718 N. Grand Blvd. (at Delmar) in Grand Center. The program, titled, “Virtuosi” will feature Symphony’s musicians; David Halen, Alison Harney, Erik Harris, Mark Sparks, Jennifer Montone, Timothy Myers, John Kasica and Barbara Liberman playing exciting solo works.  The series continues with events scheduled for February 25, March 17 and April 21.
