ST. LOUIS SYMPHONY TO PRESENT FIRST FAMILY CONCERT OF THE SEASON ON HALLOWEEN EVE

St. Louis, MO – Powell Hall will open its doors to families for the “Thrills & Chills” Family Concert October 30, 2016. The St. Louis Symphony’s spooktacular concert will feature favorites such as The Imperial March from Star Wars Suite, Night on Bald Mountain from Fantasia and Saint-Saëns’ Danse macabre. Musical memories start here!

Prior to the concert, families can also explore the Instrument Playground in the Wightman Grand Foyer. Kids will have an opportunity to see, touch and play different orchestral instruments. There will also be trick-or-treating and prizes, including tickets to the STL Symphony’s December performance of Disney in Concert Tale as Old as Time.

The STL Symphony presents three Family Concerts at Powell Hall each season. The programs are geared toward families with children ages 5-12. The musical selections and activities are designed to entertain and educate the whole family.
