ST. LOUIS SYMPHONY YOUTH ORCHESTRA BEGINS ITS 48TH SEASON


St. Louis, November 1, 2017
– The St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, led by Music Director Gemma New, is set to begin its 48th season. Under the direction of New, more than 100 young musicians from 50 different high schools in the St. Louis region, will present three free concerts at Powell Hall: November 17, 2017, March 4, 2018, and June 3, 2018.

The SLSYO will open the season with Dvořák Symphony No. 8, Anna Clyne’s Abstractions, and Alexander Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances. Program information for the remaining concerts of the SLSYO 48th season will be released at a future date.

Tickets for each SLSYO concert are free with a $1 service fee and can be reserved here.
