Juneteenth Celebration 2023

First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, musicians of the SLSO, and members of the IN UNISON Chorus team up under the leadership of SLSO's Kevin McBeth and FBCC's Pastor Christopher L. Rogers to honor Juneteenth. Join us at this historic church to learn about our newest federal holiday and experience the power of music to bring us together. 

Doors open at 1:00pm and seating is first-come, first-served. This concert will last about an hour and is free and open to the public. RSVPs are requested.

Extend your Juneteenth exploration of Black History in Chesterfield!

  • 3:15pm-4:15pm: Visit FBCC's memorial slave cemetery located at the southeast corner of Wild Horse Creek Road and Chesterfield Parkway. Descendants and members of FBCC will be onsite to answer questions.
  • 11:00am-5:00pm: Tour African Schoolhouse No. 4 which was moved to and restored at beautiful Faust Park.
