SLSO On the Go

SLSO On the Go at BJCBack by popular demand!

St. Louis Symphony Orchestra musicians are meeting audiences where they are through SLSO On the Go. This series of limited-capacity, outdoor pop-up concerts features chamber music throughout the region, from places of worship to medical centers, from Soldiers Memorial to Forest Park.

Several SLSO On the Go concerts will take place throughout the St. Louis region in May and June 2021. 

Spring 2021 Schedule

Saturday, June 19, 2021, 1:00pm CDT

Location: Washington Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, 613 N. Garrison Ave., St. Louis, MO 63103

This SLSO On the Go community concert celebrates Juneteenth. Featured ensembles include an SLSO brass quintet and string quartet performing pieces of remembrance and celebration. Members of the SLSO's IN UNISON Chorus will also appear on this program.

The concert will be held indoors with limited capacity, and our safety protocols of temperature screenings, wearing masks, safe social distancing and signing in will be in place.  The doors open for the public will open at 12:15 pm with the concert starting at 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.  Please arrive early.  Everyone must enter on the Garrison side and exit on the Samuel Shepard side of the church.  Only those who need the handicap ramp will be allowed to enter and exit through the red doors on the Garrison side of the church.


Friday, June 25, 2021, 5:00pm CDT

Location: The Jewish Community Center (JCC) Pavilion, 2 Millstone Campus Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146

In this public Symphony Shabbat concert, an SLSO brass quintet, woodwind quintet, and string quartet will perform music by Jewish composers. The JCC requests audience members RSVP for this performance.


This concert is presented by the Silk Foundation, the JCA Foundation, and the Harris-Newman Fund of Women’s Auxiliary Foundation for Jewish Aged, a supporting foundation of Jewish Federation of St. Louis.

3:00pm: Visitor & Education Center - north patio and lawn (5595 Grand Dr.)
6:00pm: St. Louis Science Center James S. McDonnell Planetarium (5050 Oakland Ave.)

These SLSO On the Go concerts present a day of music in Forest Park, with four concerts taking place throughout the day at various locations. SLSO ensembles will be joined by ensembles from the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.

These concerts are presented by UMB Bank.
