The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra with Music Director David Robertson are featured on a new recording of John Adams’ Violin Concerto with violinist Leila Josefowicz, released by Nonesuch Records.  It was described by the Boston Globe as having “the qualities of intelligence, craftsmanship, and quirkiness that have always marked the composer and his work; this time Adams also mingles virtuoso show with soul, popular appeal with the staying power that comes from intellectual interest.”

Pianist Kirill Gerstein releases The Gershwin Moment: Rhapsody in Blue & Concerto in F recorded live with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and Music Director David Robertson. Gerstein is particularly enthusiastic about the partnership with SLSO and Robertson, with whom he has a long and varied history of collaboration.
