Tiny Tunes: The Lion and the Mouse


The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra's Early Childhood Programs (for children ages 3-6) introduce orchestral music to the youngest listeners through interactive, hands-on experiences with music.

Tiny Tunes is a free SLSO concert that blends orchestral music and children’s literature into a 30-minute interactive concert experience. Join the SLSO from wherever you are for the first-ever on-demand Tiny Tunes digital concert experience. Familiar tunes from Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt bring the story of The Lion and the Mouse to life as children dance and make music along with the orchestra.

Join SLSO Early Childhood Coordinator Sarah Ruddy for two fun-filled, live Family Activity Sessions where we’ll use creative movement and music to continue the learning from Tiny Tunes: The Lion and the Mouse in this online event. No matter your musical background, your entire family will be singing, dancing, and playing instruments together! 

This event is free, and advanced registration is required. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A link to the activity session will be provided after registration.
