Family Concerts
St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Family Concerts are the perfect way to introduce children to the thrill of your SLSO. Designed for children ages 5-12, these entertaining 45-minute Sunday afternoon concerts build family memories to last a lifetime. The SLSO's Family Concert series captures the imaginations of younger listeners while making orchestral concerts accessible to families with young children.
Family Concerts are postponed until further notice, but check out our virtual family activities to enjoy with your children.
Discover Your Instrument
These live, virtual sessions are an exciting and enriching way to introduce your child to the instrument families of the orchestra. Children in grades K-5 discover their love of music as they interact with an SLSO musician and watch them perform. Each 30-minute session includes opportunities for children to interact and ask questions—all free of charge. Kids will leave the session inspired to continue or start playing an instrument of their own!
- December 28, 4:00pm - Joo Kim, violin
- December 29, 4:00pm – Phillip Ross, oboe
