Inside the Musician's Studio

Learn from SLSO musicians through a series of flipped classroom experiences! Middle and high school instrumental and vocal music students can now interact online with SLSO musicians through a series of 45-minute online Zoom classes. Each session will feature a different topic presented by a musician and includes an accompanying classroom learning activity.

Ready to expand your practice toolkit? There is so much more to practicing than simply playing through your part. In this session SLSO Violinist Joo Kim shares her most useful practice strategies, how to approach goal setting and finding motivation, and tips on improving self-critique. By participating in this flipped classroom experience, students will gain a practical and insightful understanding of various practice methods.


 Teachers are required to register on behalf of their students and space is limited. Teachers are encouraged to be present on the Zoom session with participating students. Contact with questions.
