Symphony in Your School, Junior
Experience new ways to use music in your early childhood classroom. In this residency, early childhood educators receive professional development, in-school visits, and a field trip to Tiny Tunes for their students.
SIYS, Jr. partner teachers:
- Attend a professional development workshop to gain the knowledge and tools to engage their students with music on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with the SLSO Education Team to implement interactive and engaging lessons with an emphasis on creating and exploring music through the framework of current early childhood curricula including literacy, physical development, and social-emotional development.
- Bring their students to Tiny Tunes, where they experience an interactive concert performed by SLSO musicians.
