Link Up PD Workshops

Discover Link Up: The Orchestra Moves!

Each school year nearly half a million students and teachers from across the world participate in Link Up, a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. Now is your chance to let your students be a part of something that transcends the school concert experience and shows students the power of music. As one Link Up participant said,

“I loved getting to play with the SLSO. It made me feel like a famous musician!"

Through the Discover Link Up workshop we will explore the Link Up repertoire and discover how Link Up fits into your current music curriculum. This workshop is perfect for the music teacher teaching grades 3-5, including general music, recorder, beginning strings, and/or ukulele. Come learn more about Link Up before making a commitment to the concert experience. Workshops are taught by Emilee Kellermann, SLSO Lead Link Up Teacher and Music Teacher at Kellison Elementary School and Jessica Ingraham, SLSO Director of Education.
