Youth Orchestra Final Auditions

This year, all applicants are asked to submit a recorded final audition online. Please complete the form below to upload your recording by June 5, 2023.
23/24 Final Audition Requirements and Excerpts
Applicants may perform scales of their choice for the final round of auditions. Please refer to the guidelines in the requirements for the range, tempo, etc. for your instrument.
- Chromatic (woodwinds and brass only)
- One major and one melodic minor scale of your choice; we recommend that you choose scales that demonstrate the full range of your instrument
- One scale should be slurred and the other should be tongued (woodwind and brass only)

Final audition forms and recordings due

All submissions will be checked to ensure that recordings are operable. Applicants will receive a confirmation email no later than today.
Friday, June 30
Final audition results will be emailed to applicants no later than today
