Molly Prow is excited to perform in her third season with St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, her second as co-principal. A sophomore, she also performs as principal violist of the Kirkwood High School Symphonic Orchestra and is a three-year veteran of the Community Music School Prep chamber program. She was also principal of the CMS Young People's Concert Orchestra for two seasons. She was a member of the 2017 Missouri All-State Orchestra.

Molly began her viola studies at age ten with the Kirkwood string music program under Patrick Jackson, with private instruction under Anna Lackschewitz. Currently, she studies with Joanna Mendoza.

Over the summer, Molly extended her viola ensemble and orchestra experience at the Curtis Summerfest in Philadelphia and Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival in Wisconsin. She has also attended Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Green Lake Music Festival, the Arianna Chamber Music Festival and the Innsbrook Music Festival in past years.

Other interests include running, reading books, drawing, eating sushi whenever possible, and watching South Korean dramas. Molly is grateful for the support of her family, friends, teachers, coaches and mentors. She would also like to thank the Kirkwood Orchestra Parent Association and G.A. Jr. & Kathryn Buder Charitable Foundation for their support in her music journey.
