Emily Ho

Emily Ho has been a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra since 2003.

She grew up in California where she began piano at age three and violin at age four. She won the Interlochen Arts Camp Concerto Competition on piano and went on to graduate as salutatorian of the Interlochen Arts Academy. She continued violin studies at Northwestern University with Blair Milton and then began graduate school at Rice University, studying with Kathleen Winkler, before winning a position with the SLSO at the age of 21. She has also performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

In 2008, Emily performed as soloist with the SLSO and conductor Nicholas McGegan.
