Sarah Hogan Kaiser

Sarah Hogan Kaiser is a native of St. Louis and received her Bachelor of Music Performance degree in double bass with a minor in Mathematics from Indiana University in 2000, where she was a student of Lawrence Hurst. In 2003, she received her Master of Music Performance degree as a student of Tim Pitts from Rice University in Houston, Texas. During the 2003-04 season, Kaiser performed with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach and began with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in September 2004.

During the summer, Sarah holds the position of Principal Bass with the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado. She is also proud to say that she is an alumnus of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.
