Gerald Fleminger

Gerald Fleminger


Gerald Fleminger has been a member of the St. Louis Symphony since 1971. Fleminger previously played with the Minnesota Orchestra from 1964-67. He studied viola with William Lincer, former Principal Viola of the New York Philharmonic, at the Manhattan School of Music. He also studied with Abraham Skernick, former principal of the Cleveland Orchestra, at the Aspen Music Festival and School.

Fleminger was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He has two sons, Eli and Joel, and four grandchildren.
