Live Music Safely: Our Commitment to You

Effective September 13, 2021

For more than 140 years, your St. Louis Symphony Orchestra has been dedicated to enriching lives through the power of music. Your support makes that possible. Your health, safety, and well-being—and that of our musicians, staff, volunteers, and community—is our top priority.

That is why, beginning September 13, 2021, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra will require all audience members be fully vaccinated to attend all events at Powell Hall. All audience members will be asked to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test: either a negative RT-PCR taken within 72 hours before the performance or a negative antigen test within 24 hours of the performance.

The entire SLSO family, including musicians, guest artists, staff, volunteers, ushers, and bartenders, is also required to be fully vaccinated. We are implementing these policies in consultation with public health officials, in collaboration with many of our region’s arts community, and in response to patron feedback in order to keep you, our artists and staff, and community as safe as possible.

These protocols are in effect September 13 through December 1, 2021, and will be reviewed regularly to follow the latest public health recommendations.

Please visit this webpage for any updates before you attend your next concert. You can also contact Patron Services at hospitality@slso.org if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of your SLSO. We look forward to welcoming you to Powell Hall soon.
