20/21 Reimagined Season

For more than 140 years, your St. Louis Symphony Orchestra has been dedicated to enriching lives through the power of music. It's your support that makes that possible. Your health, safety, and well-being—and that of our musicians, staff, and community—is our top priority. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, previously planned live concerts through December are being replaced with digital programming and new live offerings, as conditions permit. The annual concert in Forest Park, the SLSO’s celebratory season-opening concert, has been postponed to spring 2021.

COVID-19 Building and Safety Protocols

The SLSO has developed concert and building procedures for reopening in partnership with a team of infectious disease specialists and epidemiologists affiliated with the Washington University School of Medicine and in collaboration with other St. Louis venues and accordance with the St. Louis Health Commissioner's guidelines. Ticket Policies

In addition, we will adjust our ticket policies for the 20/21 season. We promise to be flexible and empathetic, accommodating ticket exchanges, credits, and refunds should you be unable to attend an event. If an event needs to be rescheduled or canceled, we will let you know as soon as possible, providing you with options listed below.

  • What safety precautions are you taking in light of COVID-19?
    • We are developing safety procedures and protocols in accordance with the city of St. Louis. This includes limiting capacity to comply with social distancing requirements. Masks will be required. See the COVID-19 Building and Safety Protocols section above for all safety measures.
  • What performances will you have this fall?
    • The SLSO will be alive and accessible this fall through our extensive digital portfolio. Content will include rebroadcasts on St. Louis Public Radio every Saturday evening at 8:00pm, televised concerts on the Nine Network of Public Media the first Sunday of each month, episodic digital video series framed around Stéphane’s original vision for the season, a new podcast created with Classic 107.3, Educational At-Home Resources, the SLSO’s Instrument Playground Online, and more.   • Where can I watch the digital performances?
    • Digital performances and additional content will be hosted on SLSOStories.org. For notifications of the latest content, follow the SLSO’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages. We invite you to share the power of music this fall with your family and friends by watching these digital performances together.
  • Should I keep my 20/21 subscription?
    • Yes—by keeping your 20/21 curated subscription, you will guarantee your seats for the rest of the season, as well as for the 21/22 season. All Compose Your Own subscribers will guarantee priority seating for future concerts. The value of fall tickets will remain on account to use before December 2021.
    • We are grateful to all our subscribers for your extraordinary dedication and support. Your ticket purchases help sustain and maintain the health of your SLSO.
  • How can I reach the Powell Hall Box Office?
    • You can contact the Box Office at 314-534-1700 or via email at tickets@slso.org. The Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 3:00pm. The Box Office is not currently open to walk-up visitors.
  • How can I help?
    • The SLSO is a community-supported orchestra, with one-third of our annual budget coming from ticket revenue and the remaining two-thirds coming from philanthropic gifts and our endowment. You can help support the orchestra's musical mission by donating the value of your tickets to the SLSO. 
    • You can also make a donation directly to the SLSO to help us continue to enrich lives through the power of music.
