Thank you!
St. Louis Symphony Orchestra musicians met audiences where they are through SLSO On the Go, a series of limited-capacity, outdoor pop-up concerts featuring chamber music throughout the region, from places of worship to medical centers, from Soldiers Memorial to Forest Park. The SLSO is grateful for concert hosts in May/June 2021: Soldiers Military Memorial Museum, Mercy Hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Northside Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Washington Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, The Jewish Community Center, The Boathouse in Forest Park, the Missouri History Museum, the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center in Forest Park, and the James S. McDonnell Planetarium.
Thank you to SLSO On the Go sponsors Ascension Charity Classic, UMB Bank, Bayer Fund, the Silk Foundation, the JCA Foundation, and the Harris-Newman Fund of Women’s Auxiliary Foundation for Jewish Aged, a supporting foundation of Jewish Federation of St. Louis.
SLSO On the Go began in September 2020. Since then, SLSO musicians have given more than 60 On the Go performances. Check out the inspiring stories from this community-building program.
