Early Childhood Concerts
Give your early childhood and kindergarten students the opportunity to dance and play along with SLSO musicians. Tiny Tunes blends orchestral music and children's literature into a free, 30-minute interactive concert experience. Teachers must apply and be accepted. Apply before Friday, October 28 to be considered for these special performances.
Live concerts for younger audiences will proceed as conditions allow under recommendations of health and safety specialists. Please view the current health and safety policy.
The Tortoise and the Hare

On your mark. Get set. Go! Who will cross the finish line first: the fast and confident Hare or the slow and determined Tortoise? Set to the music of Beethoven, Rossini, Elgar, and Dvořák, the story comes to life as students move and make music along with the SLSO.
*Concerts at 9:30am are open to all schools. Concerts at 10:30am and 11:30am are only available to Ready Readers partner classrooms.
New this school year, educators can access all early childhood education programs through one application. Applications are open Tuesday, September 6 to Friday, October 28.

Ticketing Information
All Tiny Tunes tickets are free. Online applications must be received no later than Friday, October 28. A member of the SLSO staff will contact you regarding the status of your application after the deadline has passed.
Transportation Assistance
Funds are available to help offset the cost of buses for qualifying schools and early childhood centers on a first-come, first-served basis. When completing the early childhood programs application, please complete the financial assistance section. Schools must have a free and reduced lunch rate of 50% or greater to qualify.
