Make Music, Not Noise

Curious about how to use instruments in your early childhood classroom? This workshop offers ideas for building a classroom instrument collection, introducing instruments, and using instruments to teach across the curriculum. We’ll discuss how to include all students in music-making, with special attention to those with sensory differences.

The Lion and the Mouse

The story of The Lion and the Mouse is the springboard for lessons and activities that will demonstrate how to get your Pre-K – K students moving and making music as they learn. This hands-on workshop will introduce a variety of easy-to-implement lesson plans and activities that use music to teach across the early childhood curriculum, including in literacy, math, and social-emotional development. No prior music experience is required.

Oct 28 Wed 5:00-6:30pm on Zoom

The same content will be presented at the In-person and Online workshops.
